About TablaOne

Everything a restaurant owner asks before putting a code on a table.

One order, one evening: scanned at the table, accepted at the pass, paid, settled. Then what it takes to go live, a demo you can run, and the questions owners ask.

Payments byvyyBe Bank

One order, one evening

From the table to your account, in four moves.

  1. 01

    The guest scans.

A signed code on the table opens your menu in their phone's browser. No app to install, no account to create. They add dishes and send the order to the kitchen.

  2. 02

    Your kitchen accepts.

The order rings on the console until someone answers. Accept with a ready time, or decline with a reason the guest sees. Nothing is charged until you accept.

  3. 03

    The guest pays.

Within 15 minutes of acceptance: vyyBe wallet, card, bank transfer or USSD. The bank confirms to TablaOne, not to a phone at the pass, and the ticket turns to Paid.

  4. 04

    The money lands.

Instantly, in your one vyyBe Business account. Every table, every branch, every method. Then the kitchen cooks.

The pass

Your kitchen keeps the say.

The console runs in any tablet or phone browser. Nothing is cooked that is not paid for, and nothing is paid for that the kitchen did not accept.

  1. Accept with a ready time

10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes. The guest sees it on their phone, and payment opens.

  2. The repeating alert

A new order rings and vibrates the tablet again and again until someone accepts or declines it.

  3. Taking orders / Orders paused

One switch when the pass is full. Guests can still browse, and the button on their phone says why.

  4. Available / Sold out

Flip a dish and it greys out on every guest's phone at once and leaves their open carts.

Settlement

Going live

Six short chapters, then your tables are live.

Stop whenever you like; everything is saved as you go, and you come back to the chapter you left.

  1. 1

    Chapter 1 of 6 · Your account

    You

Your name, email and password. A code sent to your email confirms it.

  2. 2

    Chapter 2 of 6 · Your restaurant

    The restaurant

Its name, how it is registered with the CAC, the registration number, the address and a phone number.

  3. 3

    Chapter 3 of 6 · Registration

    The people

The directors or proprietors, and who signs on the account.

  4. 4

    Chapter 4 of 6 · Documents

    The documents

What a bank asks for to open a company account. Upload each once; if anything needs a fix, you resend only that one.

  5. 5

Chapter 5 of 6 · vyyBe Business account

    The bank

Link an existing vyyBe Business account, or have one opened from the documents you sent.

  6. 6

Chapter 6 of 6 · Tables, look and menu

    The menu and tables

Tables, your look and your dishes. Verification runs while you build the menu; the print files for your table codes unlock when it is approved. Then switch on Taking orders.

Try it yourself

Order on the phone. Accept on the tablet.

Yaya's Kitchen is a restaurant set up for trying TablaOne. To pay, use any phone number and any 4-digit PIN. Your copy is private, resets with the button, and is deleted after a day.

Built for Nigerian kitchens

What holds up on a Friday night.

  1. 01

Works on a mid-range phone and weak data.

The guest page is one small fetch and a live stream. Dish photos load as thumbnails, and only when the restaurant has added them.

  2. 02

    Naira everywhere.

VAT at 7.5% and a 5% service charge on every bill, shown to the guest and listed per order on your statement. Every amount in kobo, rounded the same way each time.

  3. 03

USSD and bank transfer, as well as cards and the vyyBe wallet.

Guests pay the way they already pay. Wallet payments carry no processing cost; the bank confirms every method to TablaOne directly.

  4. 04

No printer, no POS, nothing to buy.

The console is a browser tab on any tablet or phone; the dashboard is a laptop. Guests use their own phones.

  5. 05

    One account.

Every table, every branch and every method settles into the one vyyBe Business account you link at sign-up.

  6. 06

    Signed codes you print yourself.

One per table from the print sheet, once you are verified. Each code is signed for its table, so a copied or altered code does not work.

  7. 07

    It pauses itself.

If no kitchen device has been open for 5 minutes, ordering pauses and guests see why. It resumes the moment a console is back.

Questions owners ask

Before you put it on a table.

Short answers from how the product works today. Anything else, ask here: every message opens a ticket with TablaOne, and we reply by email, usually within a working day.

Ask something else
What if the guest does not pay after we accept?

The order expires 15 minutes after acceptance if it is unpaid. The console tells the kitchen not to cook it and nobody is charged. Money that lands late is refunded to the guest automatically and flagged for TablaOne admin to check.

Do we need a POS or new hardware?

No. The kitchen console runs in a browser on any tablet or phone, the dashboard on a laptop. Guests use their own phones. You print the table codes from the dashboard once you are verified.

Do guests need the vyyBe app?

No. The menu opens in the phone's browser from the table code. Guests pay with a vyyBe wallet, a card, a bank transfer or USSD. Wallet payments have no processing cost and earn vyyBe points.

Who handles VAT and the service charge?

TablaOne adds VAT at 7.5% and a 5% service charge to every bill, shows both on the guest's receipt and lists them per order on your statement. Filing with the tax office stays with you.

What does it cost?

1.5% of each paid order, capped at ₦1,000. Nothing on declined or unpaid orders, no monthly fee and no per-table fee. Your first 30 days from go-live are free. Card, transfer and USSD processing costs are shown on each order.

How do refunds work?

Cancel and refund from the console or the dashboard. Wallet refunds complete at once; card, transfer and USSD refunds go back through the bank and show as pending until they land. The statement reverses the exact lines.

Can we pause orders or mark a dish sold out?

One switch pauses new orders while guests can still browse. Sold out greys the dish on every guest's phone at once and removes it from open carts.

How do staff sign in?

Invite kitchen staff and managers by email from the dashboard. Kitchen accounts only see the console; managers see orders, menu and settlements; the owner sees everything, including the vyyBe link.

How long does the kitchen have to answer an order?

5 minutes by default. If nobody accepts or declines in that time, the order is declined automatically, the guest is told the kitchen did not respond, and nothing is charged. The owner can set the timeout anywhere from 2 to 15 minutes in the dashboard settings.

What happens if the kitchen tablet goes off?

If no kitchen device has been open for 5 minutes while Taking orders is on, ordering pauses by itself. Guests can still browse, and their phone says the kitchen is not connected. It switches back on as soon as a console reconnects, and the owner is notified.

Can we turn on two-factor sign-in?

Yes, and it is optional. Any owner, manager or kitchen account can turn it on from the account page with an authenticator app, and gets backup codes in case the phone is lost.

What can each staff role do?

Three roles. Owner: everything, including the vyyBe Business link, staff, branches and verification. Manager: orders, refunds, the menu, tables, settings and settlements. Kitchen: the console only, with pause and sold out, and refunds with the manager PIN.

Can we import our menu from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Download the CSV template from the dashboard, fill it in and import it. You can also export the menu back to CSV at any time, and export orders and settlements as CSV for your accountant.

We have more than one branch.

Add each branch under the same restaurant, with its own address, tables and codes. Every branch settles into the one vyyBe Business account you linked, and shows on the same statement.

Put TablaOne on your tables.

Start with your email. The first 30 days from go-live are free.
