Acceptable use
Short rules for restaurants, their staff and guests. They are part of the Terms of Service.
Draft: needs legal review before launch.
Last updated: 5 October 2026
1. Restaurants
- Sell only lawful goods. Food and drink that may be sold in Nigeria, to people who may buy it.
- Keep the menu and prices accurate. A guest pays the price shown on their phone when they order.
- Allergens and dietary labels are the restaurant's responsibility. Mark them correctly and keep them current.
- Do not tamper with, copy or move table codes between tables or branches. Each code is signed for one table; reprint from the dashboard if one is damaged.
- Do not share staff sign-ins. One person, one account, with the one exception of the shared kitchen tablet, which may stay signed in for the kitchen staff of that branch.
- Use the manager PIN only through managers.
2. Guests
- Order from the table you are sitting at, with the code on that table.
- Do not scrape the menu or place orders by script or bot. Orders come from a person at a table.
- Keep order notes to the food. No abuse, threats or harassment in a note to the kitchen.
- Do not copy or share a table code to order from somewhere else.
3. Everyone
- Do not try to get around the kitchen's decision, the payment window or the signed codes.
- Do not probe, overload or interfere with the service, or try to reach another restaurant's data.
4. What TablaOne does about it
- TablaOne may pause a restaurant that breaks these rules, and will say why. Orders already paid are settled as usual.
- A kitchen can decline an abusive order with a reason, and can pause orders from the console while it sorts the problem out.
- Where the law requires it, we report misuse to the authorities.
